Dog Assisted Promotion

Reading and language development are very sensitive developmental tasks for children. Especially for the students in the rainbow school again in a special way. At the same time, these two areas of learning and development are closely related and influence each other (both positively and negatively).

This diagram shows the different connections related to the process of learning to read:

In principle, all learning processes are always accompanied by feelings and are influenced by them. If the learning content that a child has to cope with (e.g. reading) is associated with positive feelings, a person can usually learn better.

Many studies and research have shown that animals can evoke positive feelings in people. In this way, learning content can become a carrier of emotions when a dog is a listener or training partner while learning. The motivation and the subjective participation are positively addressed in this situation and thus the "learning to read" a great experience.
